    Chris Martin, vokalis grup musik kenamaan asal Inggris, Coldplay, menuliskan lirik lagu berjudul Yellow (2000) ini untuk Ibunya. Saat itu Sang Ibu sedang menderita kanker dan, karena satu dan lain hal, kulitnya mulai menguning. Mendapati kenyataan itu, Chris yang begitu mencintai ibunya ingin menuliskan sebuah lagu tentang segala sesuatu yang indah di dunia ini—dan berwarna kuning. Ia ingin memberi tahu kepada seluruh dunia bahwa baginya segala hal yang kuning itu indah: Seperti Ibunya.
